Mount Overlap

This frame is delivered with a picture mount included. To prevent the mounted picture inside from falling through the front the mount is cut 10mm smaller than the picture size specified. This means the mount will overlap your artwork by at least 3mm on each edge, allowing you to secure it in place with framing tape.

External Size

If you are ordering a picture frame to fit inside a recess or for a gallery wall you will need to take into account the external size or outside dimensions of the frame. This is to ensure that the frame fits into its desired position when hung.
