22 May 2008 - Sundry items now online

As from today, our customers can now buy sundry items from our web site. So, products like tape, security fixings, glass cleaner and so on are all now available either in the Design Studio or by clicking on the Frame Supplies heading on the left hand menu.

8 May 2008 - More customer testimonials published

A selection of the latest batch of scribings by our happy customers has now been added to our Testimonials page.

8 May 2008 - Major upgrade to Design Studio

After much toil and effort, we have now released the upgrade to the online Framing Studio, which will allow customers to upload their digital images and see how they will look when framed. This is great application to play with and a major step forward for us - we hope you enjoy it.

We welcome any suggestion you may have as to future development of this tool, and indeed the web site generally.

06 May 2008 - Work continues on new mezzanine floor

Good team work by the excellent building crew has resulted in stage 1 being completed. This means we now have use of approx 1500 st ft of mezzanine and the new offices - air conditioned no less, and very welcome in this hot (and we hope) long-lived spell of beatiful weather.

Work starts shortly on completing the mezzanine and erection of the new staff canteen.

18 April 2008 - eFrame does TV

After the work we did last year for "Comic Relief Does Fame Academy", "Hell's Kitchen" and other hit TV shows we are now happy to be featuring our work on two upcoming editions of 60 Minute Makeover.

14 April 2008 - Thank you Henlow Grange

A wonderful day was had by all of the ladies (the boys couldn't face it) and everyone has now come back fully refreshed, toned and cleansed!

One of our delightful ladies, Mariea, had the foresight to take some great pictures of all of the ladies in their "almost-all-together" which I would love to publish here but unfortunately couldn't get everyone's permission - I wonder why :-)

11 April 2008 - Work starts on new mezzanine floor

Electricians, builders, plumbers all move in to start work on the new 3,000 sq. ft. factory extension. Work will last for approximately 2 weeks but we hope to keep disruption down to a minimum.

Once finished, the factory will be have a new mezzanine bringing total floor area to 7,000 sq. ft. and provide us with new offices, storage and manufacturing facilities.

10 April 2008 - Henlow Grange here we come!

As a great big thank you for all of the sterling work by the eFrame team over the last few incredibly busy months, we have decided they all deserve a nice relaxing Spa Day at Henlow Grange which will take place 22nd April. Production will be closed that day of necessity due to the impending building works and so provides us a window of opportunity to treat all of our hard working staff. But don't worry, the offices are still open and manned by the boring fellas who don't need the benefits of a massage, facial or thallassotherapy treatment Smiley

9 April 2008 - Press Release
Interactive Online Picture Framing From eFrame
Doing for picture framing what the word processor did for the typewriter

Many years ago, the introduction of the word processor revolutionised the way we typed our letters. Now, eFrame.co.uk is doing the same for the way we buy picture frames, mounts and mirrors.

No longer do frame buyers have to visit the high street to look at a few small moulding offcuts, take a leap of faith and hope that the finished frame will turn out as they expect. Now they can see before they buy from the comfort of their own home or office.

Using advanced technology, the eFrame website provides the facility to design frames and mounts online. Users enter the size they want, choose a frame and/or mount and the screen is immediately updated to show what the finished frame will look like. Once the order is made, the items are delivered, avoiding two trips to the high street - once to order and once to collect.

Bespoke frames of any size can be made with no price premium over standard size frames, and usually at less than half the price of a high street framer. This is made possible by using a combination of progressive machinery, well trained and GCF (Guild Commended Framer) qualified staff, and advanced manufacturing.

The company provides a huge product range never before seen online. Over 600 frame styles and 350 mount styles can be combined on the web site in true WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get - pronounced WIZZIWIG) style.

With over 1 million pages visited each month, the comprehensive eFrame.co.uk web site represents the future for picture framing in the UK and is set to change the way we buy our frames. After all, how many people now use a typewriter?

Andrew Lowther is available for interview on request and brief case studies are also available.

Notes for editors
eFrame was formed in 2003 as a traditional picture framer, and is now an online picture frame, mount and mirror manufacturer trading through a interactive web site that allows people to design these products online. The site was launched March 06 and now serves over 1 million pages per month to some 22,000 customers across the UK.
